These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of the Vitova website (vitova.co.uk and shop.vitova.co.uk) and the purchase of products from us. Please read them carefully. By placing an order or using our website, you agree to these Terms.

2. Definitions

  • "Customer," "you," "your" means the individual placing an order or using the website.

  • "Products" means the food supplements and related goods offered for sale by Vitova.

  • "Website" means vitova.co.uk, shop.vitova.co.uk, and any subdomain operated by Vitova.

3. Eligibility

You must be at least 18 years old and a resident of the United Kingdom to purchase products from this website. By placing an order, you confirm that you meet these requirements.

4. Products

Our products are food supplements, not medicines. They are not intended to diagnose, treat, cure or prevent any disease.

  • Product descriptions, ingredients, nutritional information and images are provided in good faith.

  • Slight variations in colour, taste or appearance between batches may occur and do not constitute a defect.

  • We reserve the right to modify, withdraw or discontinue any product without notice.

5. Health, safety and medical disclaimer

Food supplements should not be used as a substitute for a varied, balanced diet and healthy lifestyle.

  • Do not exceed the recommended daily dose.

  • Keep out of reach of children.

  • If you are pregnant, breastfeeding, taking medication, or have a medical condition, consult your GP or a qualified healthcare professional before use.

  • If you experience any adverse reaction, stop using the product immediately and seek medical advice.

Vitova is not liable for any adverse reaction or health outcome arising from misuse of our products or use contrary to the guidance on the product label or this Website.

6. Orders and contract formation

  • Placing an order is an offer to buy a product at the listed price.

  • A contract is only formed when we send you an order confirmation email confirming dispatch.

  • We may refuse or cancel any order at our discretion, including (but not limited to) cases of suspected fraud, pricing errors, stock unavailability, or breach of these Terms.

  • If we cancel a paid order, we will refund you in full within 14 days.

7. Pricing and payment

  • All prices are shown in pounds sterling (GBP) and include VAT where applicable.

  • Shipping is calculated at checkout and shown before payment.

  • We accept payment via Shopify Payments (Visa, Mastercard, Amex, Apple Pay, Google Pay, Shop Pay) and any other methods displayed at checkout.

  • If a pricing error is discovered after you place an order, we will contact you to offer the corrected price or cancel the order.

8. Delivery

  • We currently ship to addresses within the United Kingdom only.

  • Delivery times are estimates only and not guaranteed.

  • Risk in the goods passes to you on delivery to the address you provide.

9. Cancellation, returns and refunds

Your rights to cancel, return and obtain a refund are set out in our [Refund & Returns Policy], which forms part of these Terms.

10. Subscriptions

If you purchase a Subscribe & Save plan:

  • You authorise Vitova to charge your payment method on the recurring schedule shown at checkout (e.g., every month).

  • You can pause, skip or cancel at any time from your customer account, with no minimum term and no cancellation fees.

  • Cancellations made before your next billing date will stop future shipments and charges.

  • Cancellations made after a billing date but before dispatch will be refunded in full.

  • Standard return rights apply to subscription orders once dispatched (see Refund & Returns Policy).

11. Customer accounts

If you create an account on our Website:

  • You are responsible for keeping your login details confidential.

  • You are responsible for all activity on your account.

  • Notify us immediately if you believe your account has been accessed without authorisation.

12. Acceptable use

You agree not to:

  • use the Website for any unlawful, fraudulent or harmful purpose,

  • attempt to gain unauthorised access to the Website or any related systems,

  • introduce viruses, malware or other harmful code,

  • scrape, copy or reproduce content from the Website without our written permission,

  • impersonate any person or misrepresent your affiliation with any person or entity.

We may suspend or terminate your access to the Website at our discretion if you breach these Terms.

13. Intellectual property

All content on the Website — including the Vitova name, logo, product imagery, copy, design and any associated trade marks — is the property of Vitova Health Ltd or its licensors and is protected by UK and international intellectual property laws.

You may not copy, modify, distribute, sell or commercially exploit any of our content without our prior written consent.

14. User-generated content and reviews

If you post a product review, comment, social media content tagging us, or any other material to our Website or platforms:

  • You confirm the content is your own original work or that you have the right to share it.

  • You grant Vitova a worldwide, royalty-free, non-exclusive licence to use, reproduce, modify and display that content for marketing and promotional purposes, with attribution where possible.

  • We reserve the right to remove any content we consider inappropriate, misleading or in breach of these Terms.

15. Privacy and data protection

Your personal data is handled in accordance with our [Privacy Policy]. We comply with the UK GDPR and the Data Protection Act 2018.

16. Limitation of liability

Nothing in these Terms excludes or limits our liability for:

  • death or personal injury caused by our negligence,

  • fraud or fraudulent misrepresentation,

  • any other liability which cannot lawfully be excluded.

Subject to the above, our total liability to you in connection with any product or your use of the Website is limited to the amount you paid for the product giving rise to the claim.

We are not liable for:

  • any indirect, consequential or special loss,

  • loss of profit, revenue, goodwill or business opportunity,

  • losses arising from circumstances outside our reasonable control (including but not limited to courier delays, supplier failures, regulatory changes, or events of force majeure).

17. Complaints

If something has gone wrong, please email hello@vitova.co.uk with your order number and details. We aim to acknowledge complaints within 2 working days and resolve them within 14 days.

If you are not satisfied with how we have handled your complaint, you may also be entitled to use an Alternative Dispute Resolution (ADR) provider. We are not currently registered with a specific ADR scheme.

18. Changes to these Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time to reflect changes in our products, the law, or how we operate. The "Last updated" date at the top will reflect any changes. Continued use of the Website after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.

19. Severability

If any part of these Terms is found to be unenforceable, the rest of the Terms will remain in full force.

20. Governing law and jurisdiction

These Terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales. Any disputes will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales, except that consumers resident in Scotland or Northern Ireland may bring claims in their local courts.
